Will work under the direction of the Security Supervisor and assist in day-to-day Security operations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead security guards, create and manage security work schedules, and assist with paperwork as needed.
• Inspect, monitor, control, and patrol work sites as required.
• Sit in on PEC as needed and assist the Security Supervisor with security staff evaluations.
• Follow guidelines, use proper judgment, and apply policy and procedures consistently.
• Report security incidents to the supervisor and handle emergency/crisis situations appropriately.
• Demonstrate professional behavior when dealing with violent or potentially violent circumstances.
• Support the Mission and Values of OLOL and enforce organizational rules with a courteous attitude.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2 years of experience in the field or related area. 5 years of good driving experience required; no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years; zero DUI or reckless driving convictions. Periodic motor vehicle/driving record checks may be obtained.
• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Training: None
• Special Skills: Good computer skills, interpersonal and human relations skills, oral and written communication, problem solving and critical thinking, time management/prioritization, and organizational skills.
