Job Description

As a Security Guard - Unarmed Healthcare in Morrisville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming environment for all. Your presence and routine patrols contribute to a sense of order, while your strong communication and customer service skills support positive interactions with staff, patients, and visitors. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards within the location to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required by site policies.
• Support emergency response activities and assist with evacuations or other procedures as directed by site management.
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• North Carolina Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
