Overview

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Concierge Security Officer. Join our Event Services Team to deliver best-in-class customer service to high-end clients in fast-paced event environments. The Security Officer – Concierge will focus on customer service and interact with guests, event staff, and security across various shifts and settings.

Location and Schedule

• Location: Sunnyvale (Main Campus), Mountain View, and San Jose, CA
• Schedule: 8–12 hours per shift
• Earliest start time: 2100
• Latest end time: 0800
• Flexible availability to work any day of the week and any shift (highly preferred)

Responsibilities

• Be articulate and professional when interacting with guests, the events team (owners and coordinators), and security staff
• Maintain strong interpersonal and guest service skills
• Manage access control
• Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Answer questions in person or by phone
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
• Escalate incidents appropriately via radio or GSOC (Global Security Ops Center) or on-site security
• Read and understand maps to direct guests throughout the campus

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• HS Diploma or GED or higher
• State security license and additional 32-hour BSIS security trainings (additional trainings can be obtained during the hiring process)
• At least 21 years of age
• Valid California driver license and clean driving record
• 6 months security experience preferred
• Ability to pass an extensive screening process
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proficient in basic phone and computer skills
• Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience is a plus
