GardaWorld Security Services is now hiring a Flex Security Guard. Must be available to work any day of the week and to work two shifts per day. Locations include all sites under the Silicon Valley branch: Redwood City, Palo Alto, Fremont, Milpitas, Mountain View, Sunnyvale, San Jose, Morgan Hill, Gilroy, Hollister, Monterey, Salinas, Freedom, Santa Cruz.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the premises to ensure security.
• Conduct patrols to spot suspicious activity.
• Control access points and verify identities.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security.
• Write detailed reports on events and incidents.
• Collaborate with authorities during serious situations.
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.

Qualifications

• State security license and additional 32-hour BSIS security trainings (additional trainings can be obtained during the hiring process).
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be available to work any day of the week.
• Must be available to work two shifts per day.
• Preferably 21 years of age; active driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Preferably three to six months of security experience.
• Willing to work all sites under the Silicon Valley branch (locations listed).
• Be able to ace and pass an extensive screening process.
• Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations; strong problem solving skills.
• If you have Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience – that’s a plus.

Employment is contingent on the successful completion of a background check and drug screening to be conducted after an offer of employment is extended.
