Salary: $25.00-$33.50 an Hour

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic General Education Teacher to join an elementary school team in Beloit, Wisconsin, for the 20252026 school year. This position will be assigned to either a 3rd, 4th, or 5th-grade classroom, based on the districts staffing needs and the teachers experience and preferences.

The ideal candidate is passionate about differentiated instruction, has strong classroom management skills, and is committed to student growth and community building.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver core instruction in English Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies to students in 3rd5th grade
• Create and implement lesson plans that align with Wisconsin Academic Standards and district curriculum
• Establish a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that promotes active learning
• Use data-driven decision-making to differentiate instruction and support academic interventions
• Collaborate with grade-level teams, special education staff, and instructional coaches to support all learners
• Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and performance
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to support student development
• Participate in school-wide activities, professional development, and team meetings

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Education or a related field
• Wisconsin DPI License in Elementary Education (Grades 18 or appropriate grade band)
• At least one year of teaching or student teaching experience preferred
• Strong communication, classroom management, and problem-solving skills
• Culturally responsive and inclusive teaching practices
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners

Schedule & Compensation:

• Full-time, Monday through Friday during regular school hours
• Salary commensurate with experience and aligned with the district pay scale
