Summary
We are expanding and looking for a Preschool Teacher to join our team.
Lead teachers are in charge of caring for, supervising, and managing a classroom of children in compliance with the State of CT Licensing Regulations. Key responsibilities include ensuring the safety and well-being of all children, implementing a play-based curriculum, building nurturing relationships to foster each child's cognitive and social/emotional development, collaborating with parents and families, and overseeing daily classroom routines and activities.
This is a solo teaching position where you will be the primary teacher in your own classroom, managing 6-10 children each day.

- Create emotionally responsive classroom environment

- Adhere to all state regulations and statues
- Responsible for building nurturing relationships with children and their families
- Plan and implement curriculum and monitor each child's developmental progress
- Contribute to a positive workplace culture
- Demonstrate professionalism
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Childcare experience
