Base pay range

$48,000.00/yr - $58,000.00/yr

  • This is for all Subject Areas: English, Math, Science, Social Studies, ESOL.

The Teacher is responsible for coaching, motivating, and instructing high school students within the company model, focusing on each student’s Individual Graduation Plan (IGP). All for-credit courses are aligned to state standards and delivered in an engaging, mastery-based educational model. The teacher acts more like a coach and mentor, ensuring student success.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide a high-accountability, student-centered learning environment aligned with the school's academic goals.
  • Display effective subject matter knowledge and best instructional practices.
  • Assist in initiatives to meet enrollment and attendance goals.
  • Maintain student records, including progress reports, attendance, behavior, and grades.
  • Collaborate with peers to develop and implement educational practices tailored to student needs.
  • Participate in professional development to maintain certifications.
  • Perform additional duties aligned with company policies to achieve educational and behavioral goals.

Job Requirements and Prerequisites

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field from an accredited institution.
  • Appropriate Teacher’s certification.
  • Knowledge of secondary education principles and curriculum design.
  • Ability to analyze data for program improvement.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Experience working with at-risk youth is preferred.
