World Language Teacher

Collier Middle School, a highly respected alternative program for students benefitting from a more personalized and therapeutic learning environment, is seeking a caring and skilled teacher of a world language (Spanish, French, German, Italian, etc.). At a minimum, candidates must possess a New Jersey Certificate of Eligibility (CE) to teach their language at the middle school level.

Qualifications:

  • Must have Teacher of the Handicapped (TOH) Certification or Teacher of Students with Disabilities (TOSD), or be willing to return to school for TOSD.
  • Must have valid NJ Teaching Certification with specialization in a World Language
  • Must have experience working with students with disabilities
  • Strong background in behavior modification and classroom management strategies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of effective teaching methods, including positive behavior supports and differentiated instruction.



Salary Range: $50,000-$60,000
