Job Description

World Language Teacher

Collier Middle School, a highly respected alternative program for students benefitting from a more personalized and therapeutic learning environment, is seeking a caring and skilled teacher of a world language (Spanish, French, German, Italian, etc.). At a minimum, candidates must possess a New Jersey Certificate of Eligibility (CE) to teach their language at the middle school level.

Qualifications:

Must have Teacher of the Handicapped (TOH) Certification or Teacher of Students with Disabilities (TOSD), or be willing to return to school for TOSD.
Must have valid NJ Teaching Certification with specialization in a World Language
Must have experience working with students with disabilities
Strong background in behavior modification and classroom management strategies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated knowledge of effective teaching methods, including positive behavior supports and differentiated instruction.

Salary Range: $50,000-$60,000
