Two full-time Special Education Teacher positions are available for the 2025-2026 school year in a K-12 public school located in North Brunswick, NJ. These contract roles are designed for dedicated educators to support middle school and high school students with diverse learning needs.

One role is for a Middle School Special Education Teacher with a Social Studies certification, responsible for delivering inclusive, standards-aligned instruction to students requiring special education services. The other position is for a High School Special Education Teacher in a Multiple Disabilities program, working closely with a small group of seven students. Candidates for this role must hold a Teacher of Students with Disabilities (TOSD) or Teacher of the Handicapped (TOH) certification, along with an Elementary K-6 Certification. Experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder or Multiple Disabilities is highly preferred. Key Qualifications: Valid Special Education certification appropriate to the position (Middle School Social Studies or TOSD/TOH with K-6 Elementary Certification) Experience in middle or high school special education settings Preferred experience with Autism or Multiple Disabilities student populations Strong communication and classroom management skills Commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments Responsibilities include adapting curriculum to meet individualized education plans (IEPs), collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, monitoring student progress, and maintaining accurate records. This contract opportunity offers competitive pay ranging from $30 to $40 per hour, with weekly pay and guaranteed hours.
