Gaithersburg Architectural Millwork, a high-end architectural millwork firm, is seeking a reliable and responsible Delivery Driver (non-CDL) to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering packages and goods to our customers in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate company delivery trucks to transport millwork products to job sites and clients.
• Pick-up and deliver to vendor sites.
• Assist with warehouse tasks, including organizing inventory, receiving shipments, and preparing orders when deliveries are slow.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
• Communicate with dispatch and customers to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and delivery vehicles.
• Assist with packaging and securing materials for safe transport.
• Collaborate with production and logistics teams to meet delivery schedules and customer expectations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Must pass DOT requirements.
• Experience in delivery driving, warehouse operations, or logistics (millwork or construction industry a plus).
• Comfortable driving large box trucks in and around the DMV area.
• Regional and long-haul driving along the east coast, typically within a few hours outside the region.
• Ability to operate a delivery vehicle safely and responsibly.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail, time management, and safety protocols.
• Ability to lift and carry packages up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to work varying schedules and overtime.

• Ability to drive safely and use navigation tools.
• Ability to plan delivery routes and maintain logs.
• Professional and courteous demeanor at all times.

Education and Experience:

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Load and unload packages in various weather conditions.

Travel:

• Regular travel within the region.
