This position involves delivering products to stores on established routes or via dynamic dispatch, including convenience stores, gas stations, small supermarkets, and drug stores, with an average of 15-20 stops per day. Responsibilities include driving the delivery vehicle, unloading and bringing products into stores, rotating and stocking products on shelves and displays, setting up promotional materials, generating invoices, and daily settlement of cash and charges. Frequent interaction with store management is required.
This role is labor-intensive, requiring lifting, loading, and pushing/pulling a high volume of cases (20-45 pounds each), along with reaching, squatting, and bending during deliveries and merchandising, often in various weather conditions. Long work hours may be necessary during peak seasons.
Primary Accountabilities
- Deliver products, serve customers, and execute promotions at multiple stores daily.
- Operate trucks requiring an appropriate CDL license, including basic maneuvering and driving functions.
- Service scheduled customers by the end of each shift.
- Merchandise and rotate products according to standards, including building displays and removing outdated items.
- Use pallet jacks, hand trucks, and breakdowns to move products.
- Establish positive relationships with store contacts.
- Follow operating procedures and DOT regulations.
- Maintain reliable attendance.
