Delivery Driver Responsibilities

The Delivery Driver checks all products for accuracy against quality standards, delivers products safely, courteously, and promptly while working as part of a team. Support the restaurant by performing other workstation duties. Comply with Papa John’s uniform, appearance, and operations standards as outlined in the Operations Manual, PIZZAcademy, Team Member Handbook, and adhere to all laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform duties including vehicle preparation, learning the delivery area, checking orders for quality and accuracy, following delivery procedures, and providing excellent customer service in person or by phone. Also, perform other duties such as making quality products, preparing ingredients, and taking orders.
• Work as part of a team, support colleagues, arrive on time, complete all shift duties including cleaning, and uphold uniform and appearance standards. Foster a positive team environment.
• Process orders and payments accurately, manage cash, use the FOCUS System, and support sales through suggestive selling and distributing door hangers. Maintain organized, safe, and clean work areas, and follow safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, reliable vehicle, and ability to drive required.
