KeyResponsibilities
Thisperson will work with members of the distribution team to increase company profitability and customer satisfaction by delivering complete, accurate,and on-time deliveries toRichelieu’scustomers.TheDeliveryDriver will represent the company in a highly professional, safe,and cost-effective manner that complies with DOT and other applicable regulations.
- Deliver orders via the most effective route to ensure complete orders are delivered according to established time frames and customers’needs
- Preparetruck for operation by loadingtheproduct,securing of items and verifying theaccuracy of shippingpapers
- Inspecttruck tires, lights, brakes, fluids, etc. to ensure safe and cost-effective performance with preventive maintenance inmind
- Maintain communication with company during deliveries to ensure any updated instructions arereceived
- Document delivery, accuracy and receipt of orders by the customer according to company directivesand report anydiscrepancies
- Maintain and monitortruck maintenance and driving record requirements, and maintain required documents for safety, security,and qualityprocesses
- Work with other distribution team members to insure complete, accurate and on-time deliveries to the company’scustomers
- Represent the company in a highly professional, safe, and cost-effectivemanner
- Maintain a satisfactory driving record and comply with all DOT and other applicableregulations
- Follow company policies andprocedures
- Increase customer satisfaction by collecting information, feedback on service and resolving complaints per company policy; communicate information back tocompany
- Safely operate forklifts andotherwarehouse equipment asrequired
- Perform occasional warehouse and counterduties
- Maintain proficiency in computerized systems and other technologies asrequired
- Other duties asassigned
- Hours of operation are Monday - Friday
- Position requires lifting/pushing/carrying items up to or over 50 pounds, and potentially working around fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicals

- Must have good driving record
- No CDL license is necessary for this vehicle/position
