NAPA Auto Parts is hiring: Store Delivery Driver in Chamblee

Overview

This is a Delivery Driver opportunity that delivers on being a NAPA brand ambassador. It focuses on being out on the open road delivering to customers, rather than staying in an office or store. A NAPA Delivery Driver is a great entry to a career with us, whether you want to continue as a Driver, explore other careers later, or simply earn additional income.

What you'll be doing:

• Delivering parts to customers with a passion for developing relationships.
• Picking up parts from vendors, ensuring stock room parts are accurately stocked and inventory is maintained/checked.
• Focusing on safety while driving and delivering parts.
• Serving as a NAPA Brand Ambassador as you meet customers during deliveries.
• Building long-term relationships with the customers you deliver to.
• Maintaining the store delivery truck with adherence to safety checklists, keeping the vehicle clean, and handling basic maintenance (e.g., correct tire pressure).
• Other duties as needed.

What you'll need:

• Agility to bend to floor-level shelves and reach upper shelves (up to eight feet) with a stool or ladder when necessary, and the stamina to stand and walk for the entire shift; ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Able to handle cash charge transactions correctly and process core/part returns appropriately.
• Maintaining a distribution log or tracking system to record all deliveries/pickups.
• Inspecting, protecting and maintaining company assets, merchandise, vehicles, building and people.
• Clear speaking and attentive listening skills.
• Ability to drive throughout the metropolitan area using maps and directions.
• Able to be flexible with your schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Valid Driver's License.
