Receptionist – Downtown Los Angeles (On-Site).

LHH is working with a well-established firm located in Downtown LA to find a polished and proactive Receptionist to join their team. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity offering competitive pay, excellent benefits, and a dynamic office environment.

About the Role

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced legal office setting and takes pride in creating a welcoming and organized front office experience. You’ll be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, while also supporting daily operations across reception, conference rooms, mail handling, and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls; take messages as needed.

  • Greet and assist visitors; manage conference room scheduling and setup.

  • Maintain cleanliness and professional appearance of reception and common areas.

  • Prepare meeting spaces (water, Keurig, seating, etc.).

  • Provide parking validations when applicable.

  • Track and prepare monthly copy and parking logs.

  • Process incoming mail, faxes, and court communications.

  • Circulate document lists and coordinate scanning with staff.

  • Monitor and restock office and kitchen supplies; place orders as needed.

  • Run dishwasher and assist with event setup/cleanup.

  • Handle incoming/outgoing mail and packages; prepare FedEx/UPS labels.

  • Reserve attorneys for remote court appearances and update calendars.

  • Provide general administrative support and backup file clerk duties.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of law office or reception experience preferred.

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.

  • Excellent grammar, spelling, and attention to detail.

  • Ability to multitask and work independently or collaboratively.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).

  • Familiarity with Clio, Dropbox, and electronic document systems a plus.

  • Tech-savvy and comfortable troubleshooting basic issues.

Education & Schedule:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) required.

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Paid parking and public transportation.

  • This posting is a representative sample of the types of roles we typically place with our clients. Depending on the specific client, location, and role, the salary range is estimated to be $50,000 to $52,000 and benefits may include medical, dental, vision, and 401k plans.



Pay Details: $50,000.00 to $52,000.00 per year
