About the role
Reporting to the Home Admin Manager, the Receptionist will ensure that the overall presentation of the reception provides a friendly, welcoming and professional image of the home so that all visitors to the home feel welcomed.
Salary
£12.21 per hour.
Shift Pattern
15 hours per week, worked on a rota basis from Monday to Sunday.
Home Location
Baldock Drive, King's Lynn, England, PE30 3DQ.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Answer incoming telephone calls and ensure that all enquiries are dealt with in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist with a variety of administrative tasks including responding to emails, copying, faxing and taking notes.
- Ensure that residents receive their post and prepare all outgoing post on a daily basis.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Home Admin Manager.
Training, Skills & Experience Required
- Experience working in a receptionist position is essential.
- Working within a care home environment is highly advantageous.
- Excellent written, non-verbal and verbal communication skills.
- Good working knowledge of and competence in Microsoft Office applications and Windows-based operating environments – Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.
