Job Description: As a Receptionist at EEG, you will play a vital role in both maintaining a positive and productive work environment for our team. The Receptionist is the first point of contact at the corporate office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet clients, visitors, and guests; determines the purpose of visit and directs or escorts to the appropriate location.
- Answers, screens, and directs phone calls to staff; takes messages and schedules appointments.
- Receives mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries and delivers or distributes items.
- Performs administrative and clerical support tasks, such as filing, data entry, generating reports, and ordering supplies.
- Performs basic filing and recordkeeping.
- General coordination of office functions, including kitchen, kitchen supplies, and conference room. Maintains a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
- Coordinates conferences and meetings, including arranging for meeting space, transportation, meals, security, etc.
- Prepares meeting agendas.
- Record and file receipts for purchases and expense reimbursement reports.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Knowledge of office administration, clerical procedures, and recordkeeping systems.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software with the ability to learn new or updated software. (Outlook, Word, and Excel in particular)
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma required
- At least one year of related experience required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
