Base pay range
$16.00/hr - $18.00/hr

About Us
Aptiva Health is a rapidly expanding multi-specialty medical group with locations throughout Kentucky. We are currently looking to add a medical receptionist to our Concussion and Sports Medicine Institute office located at 3611 Newburg Road, Louisville, KY. This position will also travel to our downtown office on a rotating schedule. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to fill this position and begin training immediately.
Medical Receptionist Responsibilities
- Verifies patient information by interviewing patient; confirming purpose of visit.
- Checks patients in and out of the clinic and verifies that all patient information is accurate and up to date.
- Schedules follow-up appointments in person or on the phone, and calls to confirm appointments.
- Secures patient information and maintains patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records.
- Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
- Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
- Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
- Serves and protects the practice by adhering to professional standards, policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements.
- Enhances practice reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
