Service Receptionist role at The CAR Group (Norm Reeves Dealerships) – Cerritos, CA. On site, Full Time, Hourly Range: $17 - $18. Schedule: Sundays OFF with another day during the week.

The Service Receptionist is one of the most important team members in the service department. You are a primary point of contact for our Service Department guests, and your communication helps create a positive customer experience. You will handle all incoming calls for the service department.

What You’ll Do

• Greet customers promptly and professionally as they arrive in the service department
• Answer incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or personnel
• Schedule service appointments and confirm upcoming visits
• Maintain the waiting area and ensure it is clean and inviting
• Communicate with customers regarding vehicle status, delays, or updates
• Assist service advisors with paperwork, repair orders, and other administrative tasks
• Process payments and handle invoice questions
• Maintain accurate customer records and follow up as needed
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction at all times

What You’ll Need

• Full-time availability. You’ll also need to be at least 18 years old
• A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Strong communication skills with both Norm Reeves staff and guests
• Ability to work with guests in-person and via phone calls
• Professional appearance and work ethic
• Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
