Job Title: Marketing Manager

Location: US, Home based

Work Type: Remote, with travel

Job Summary: The Marketing Manager is responsible for driving the company’s marketing activities across strategy, execution, and content. This role is ideal for a versatile marketer with 5+ years of experience who is ready to take broad ownership of campaigns, brand initiatives, events, and digital programs. The Marketing Manager will collaborate closely with Business Development and Operations to support sales campaigns and external marketing events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the marketing vision and goals while helping develop and implement the company’s marketing strategy.
  • Build and execute marketing plans and communicate progress to stakeholders.
  • Create and manage content across channels (website, campaigns, social, email, events).
  • Own the company’s social media accounts, announcements, and news.
  • Develop lead generation activities and track campaign performance.
  • Coordinate with and manage outside vendors/agencies to meet marketing goals.
  • Write and edit professionally-crafted content for multiple formats.
  • Lead creative efforts for campaigns and collateral (working with design support when needed).
  • Maintain document and presentation templates.
  • Oversee website content updates and collaborate with developers/designers for improvements.
  • Plan and manage the company’s participation in industry events, conferences, and tradeshows.
  • Assist with budget tracking and reporting.
  • Support Business Development with CRM-related tasks, such as targeted exports and campaign lists.
  • Contribute to the company’s public relations efforts, in partnership with leadership and external PR resources.
  • Define and implement social media strategy.
  • Take on other marketing-related projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of professional marketing experience, ideally in a generalist role at a small to mid-sized company or agency.
  • Demonstrated experience working across multiple channels (digital, content, events, campaigns).
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, including familiarity with managing budgets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM (Salesforce preferred), HubSpot marketing automation, and tools such as Mailchimp or Apollo.
  • Experience with website CMS tools (WordPress preferred).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Adobe Creative Suite familiarity a plus.
  • Experience developing and managing online communities is a plus.
  • CRO or biotech experience a plus.
