We are seeking a Field Marketing Manager to lead market activation efforts in one of the most competitive regions in the cannabis industry. This role is boots-on-the-ground, strategy-in-hand. Perfect for someone who knows how to support sell-through, energize store teams, and build lasting retail relationships.

You’ll oversee a field team, collaborate closely with sales, and make sure every in-store presence reflects the strength of the brand. If you're a connector who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth industries and loves shaping strategy from the field up, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Drive Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to develop tailored go-to-market plans across key retail doors.
  • Cultivate Retail Partnerships: Build strong relationships with store managers, buyers, and frontline staff to support product movement and brand loyalty.
  • Own the Territory: Routinely visit accounts to build rapport, assess in-store opportunities, and provide impactful support.
  • Execute Flawlessly: Ensure displays are dialed in, inventory is in check, and every brand touchpoint looks top-tier.
  • Manage and Motivate a Field Team: Lead a team of field marketing reps—assign routes, track KPIs, and elevate overall performance.
  • Deliver Brand Training: Host engaging education sessions with store teams to ensure they’re equipped to represent the brand with confidence.
  • Keep Your Finger on the Pulse: Gather field insights, competitive intel, and customer feedback to inform sales and marketing strategies.
  • Track Results: Log activity and analyze performance metrics to show how field efforts are moving the needle.

What We’re Looking For

  • Based in NY/NJ area with the ability to travel throughout the region and report to a local office.
  • 3+ years of field marketing, trade marketing, or sales support experience (bonus if it’s in cannabis or CPG).
  • Experience managing and motivating field teams.
  • Excellent communication and people skills — you know how to talk shop with retail staff and buyers alike.
  • Highly organized with strong reporting habits.
  • Must be 21+, have a valid driver’s license, and access to reliable transportation.
  • Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and willing to work evenings/weekends when needed.
