Our Energy Solutions Division is hiring a Channel Marketing Manager to work with our energy storage products. The position offers the opportunity to work in a rapidly growing industry (renewables) to grow our products' market share. There is significant opportunity to help shape the growth of our brand in this space with this opening. The role is based out of our corporate office in Wauwatosa with the opportunity to be remote up to two days per week.

Position Description

Manages the development and execution of marketing programs that support the sale of specified company products through assigned, multiple channels. Main product categories include battery storage products sold through solar installers, engineering design consultants and energy system specifiers.

Job Responsibilities

  • Works closely with product management, sales and marketing communications to develop and implement product launches and promotions to meet market demands in assigned multiple channels
  • Leads Voice Of Customer research efforts specific to the channel that provide insights to both the product and sales teams for various launches and promotions
  • Serves as the marketing liaison working closely with sales to recruit and onboard new customers
  • Creates and manages programs to target and acquire new channel partners including training, promotions and development of sales tools and merchandising; measures effectiveness of programs by developing metrics and associated tracking mechanisms
  • Works directly with sales leadership to create programs that support the outside sales teams including coordination of sales meetings and events, advisory councils, etc
  • Evaluates channel needs and makes recommendations to management (selling/pull through)
  • Achieves annual sell-thru objectives for assigned channels of distribution
  • Conducts timely competitive analysis
  • Establishes and maintains program expense tracking
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Job Skills Requirements

  • Proficient knowledge of Business-to-Consumer and Business-to-Business selling practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with teams across functions
  • Proven ability to successfully manage several projects simultaneously and to coordinate with multiple departments at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated initiative and able to work independently

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of seven years of experience in consumer marketing or related field
  • Ability to travel domestically around 15% and for trade shows as needed
  • Experience in renewable energy industry, electrical products and/or home improvement industry preferred
