About the Role

Midstate Electric Co. is seeking a skilled and motivated Massachusetts-licensed Residential Electrician to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in new construction environments and takes pride in wiring homes from foundation to final inspection.

You’ll be responsible for full-cycle electrical installations in newly built residential properties—including rough wiring, panel setup, fixture installation, and final walkthroughs. We value craftsmanship, code compliance, and a proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Complete electrical installations for new homes from start to finish
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and building plans
• Install panels, circuits, outlets, lighting, and smart home systems
• Ensure all work meets NEC and local code requirements
• Collaborate with builders, inspectors, and other trades on-site
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during construction phases
• Maintain a clean and organized job site

Qualifications

• Valid Massachusetts Journeyman or Master Electrician License
• 3+ years of residential wiring experience (new construction preferred)
• Strong understanding of NEC and local building codes
• Ability to work independently and manage timelines
• Comfortable using digital tools for documentation and communication
• Basic hand/power tools
