Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
Electrum, LLC is a fast-growing electrical contractor serving both residential and commercial clients across Alabama. We are seeking experienced Lead Electricians for three distinct roles. Whether your expertise is in new residential construction, commercial projects, or electrical service and troubleshooting, we want to hear from you.
Lead Electrician – New Construction Residential
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage rough-in to trim-out phases for new residential builds
- Interpret blueprints and ensure code compliance
- Supervise apprentices and ensure high-quality installations
- Coordinate with builders, contractors, and inspectors
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of residential new construction experience
- Strong leadership and time-management skills
- Deep understanding of NEC and local building codes
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
Lead Electrician – Commercial
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead electrical installation for commercial projects including offices, c-stores, and light industrial
- Interpret and execute project plans and submittals
- Oversee pipe/conduit work, panel installations, and large-scale layouts
- Coordinate with project managers, GCs, and inspectors to maintain schedules
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of commercial electrical experience
- Skilled in reading blueprints, specs, and schematics
- Proficient with conduit bending, panel setups, and site logistics
- Able to supervise teams and manage jobsite operations
Lead Service Technician
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in residential and commercial settings
- Communicate effectively with customers and provide solutions
- Install, repair, and upgrade panels, lighting, and other systems
- Complete detailed service reports and ensure customer satisfaction
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of service technician experience
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Strong customer service and communication abilities
- Clean driving record and willingness to travel locally
