Salary: $15.00 per/hour

• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within Puerto Rico.
  
  

Electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical codes, safety regulations, and troubleshooting techniques. This position requires a proactive individual who can work independently and as part of a team to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, fixtures, and control equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical problems and identify appropriate solutions.
• Inspect electrical systems and equipment for defects, hazards, and the need for adjustments or repairs.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with relevant electrical codes and safety regulations (e.g., NEC).
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Use a variety of electrical testing equipment, such as multimeters, ammeters, and voltage testers.
• Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
• Install and maintain lighting systems.
• Repair or replace faulty electrical components, such as switches, outlets, and circuit breakers.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed.
• Respond to emergency electrical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and contractors.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
  
  

Qualifications:

• "Minimum of 3 years of experience as an electrician"
• Thorough knowledge of electrical codes and safety regulations (NEC).
• Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to perform the essential functions of the job, including lifting, bending, and working at heights.
• *Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within Puerto Rico.
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
