Responsibilities

• Execution of the Planned and Preventive Electrical/Maintenance schedule.
• Installing, testing, maintaining and troubleshooting wiring, fixtures, control devices, and equipment.
• Troubleshooting Electrical, Hydraulic, Mechanical, Pneumatic Systems, Motor Controls, AC/DC Drives, and Medium Voltage Switch Gears.
• Be able to read and interpret Equipment drawings, PIDs, One Line Diagrams, and Schematics.
• Effectively diagnose and repair malfunctioning systems and components.
• Improve equipment reliability and optimize resources.
• Maintain logs, and record labor, materials and equipment used.
• Proficient use of Electrical Test Equipment such as Digital Multimeters, Ammeters, Meggers, and Instrument Loop Calibrators.
• Ability to install and setup Variable Frequency Drives.
• Participate in breakdown analysis, root cause analysis, focused improvement, and 5S projects.
• Ensure all workers adhere to Local, State, and National Codes and Regulations.
• Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Electronics Technician Community College Degree or Licensed Journeyman Electrical License.
• Minimum of 3 years Industrial Electrician experience.
• One year of in plant manufacturing experience.
• Ability to work independently and utilize critical problem solving and decision-making skills to generate and implement solutions throughout the Process.
• Must maintain compliance within all LOTO, Confined Space, Hot Work, Working at Heights Policies.
• OSHA 10 Training and Experience.
• Experience with Variable Speed Drives, Siemens Drive knowledge a plus.
• Experience with PLC Installation and Troubleshooting, Siemens PLC knowledge a plus.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to assist in all Mechanical tasks, jobs, and repairs.
• Ability to work extended hours to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work at heights in excess of 80 feet, use man lifts, and work in confined spaces.
• Ability to work outdoors, rotating shifts, and lift 50 pounds required.
