Since 1996, RQC, LLC. has been a leading player in Southern California's robust commercial and governmental Design-Build economy. We now have a national and international presence spanning coast to coast, including U.S. Naval Base Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and Puerto Rico. We offer project management throughout the United States, with field operations' team members working on location for each project. We specialize in fast-track projects in new commercial construction, primarily focusing on the Department of Defense market.


We are seeking a qualified Electrician to join our Electrical Self-Perform team for construction projects based in Pensacola, Florida.


This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, ensuring work complies with relevant codes. The work involves the technical application of electrical principles, using appropriate equipment and safety practices, supporting RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values.


Per diem may be available for qualified candidates not local to Pensacola.


Pay: $26.00 - $40.00 per hour

Education & Experience:


  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred, supplemented by completion of a union, private, military, or trade school apprenticeship program that includes theory and on-the-job training.
  • Four or more years of field or trade work experience as a journey-level wireman in commercial, industrial, or facilities operations settings are required; government, military, or large commercial construction experience is preferred.
  • Experience with communication/telco installation, deep underground wiring, conductor installation, start-up and energizing procedures, fire alarm and security system installation.
  • A valid electrician's license or journeyman card is preferred.
  • CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30-hour certifications are required. Additional preferred training includes trenching, shoring, fall protection, confined space, forklift/manlift, power tools, lockout/tagout, hot work, scissor/boom lift, and EM-385.
  • Experience with medium voltage duct bank and underground utilities.
  • Ability to provide necessary tools such as knives, pliers, screwdrivers, level, voltage tester, and others listed.
