Maintenance Electrician

In this hands-on role, you'll perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and repair of electrical systems across a busy industrial facility. Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain, install, and repair facility electrical systems including motors, generators, transformers, VFDs, switchgear, and lighting
  • Troubleshoot electrical equipment and control systems using schematics and diagnostic tools
  • Work with 480V 3-phase motor control systems
  • Test and inspect motor controls, transformers, generator windings, switch panels, and related components
  • Perform both preventive and corrective maintenance activities to minimize downtime
  • Safely dismantle and reassemble electrical equipment as needed
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area through daily housekeeping
  • Accurately complete shift logs and reports
  • Identify and communicate safety concerns or production issues to supervisors
  • Cross-train and assist with other maintenance tasks as needed
  • Follow all MSHA and company safety policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Licensed electrician with 4+ years of industrial electrical experience
  • Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across various systems: PLCs, relay logic, VFDs, motor starters, and transformers
  • Familiarity with hand tools, lifting devices, and testing equipment
  • PLC experience preferred but not required
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English
  • Must pass a physical and drug screening
