In this hands-on role, you'll perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and repair of electrical systems across a busy industrial facility. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, install, and repair facility electrical systems including motors, generators, transformers, VFDs, switchgear, and lighting
- Troubleshoot electrical equipment and control systems using schematics and diagnostic tools
- Work with 480V 3-phase motor control systems
- Test and inspect motor controls, transformers, generator windings, switch panels, and related components
- Perform both preventive and corrective maintenance activities to minimize downtime
- Safely dismantle and reassemble electrical equipment as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work area through daily housekeeping
- Accurately complete shift logs and reports
- Identify and communicate safety concerns or production issues to supervisors
- Cross-train and assist with other maintenance tasks as needed
- Follow all MSHA and company safety policies and procedures
- High school diploma or GED required
- Licensed electrician with 4+ years of industrial electrical experience
- Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
- Strong troubleshooting skills across various systems: PLCs, relay logic, VFDs, motor starters, and transformers
- Familiarity with hand tools, lifting devices, and testing equipment
- PLC experience preferred but not required
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- Must pass a physical and drug screening
