Traveling Commercial Service Electrician

We are hiring an experienced Commercial Service Electrician for traveling projects across North Carolina and surrounding states. This position offers steady work, competitive pay, and the opportunity to work on a variety of commercial service projects.

Responsibilities:

• Perform service, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems in commercial facilities (retail, office, industrial, hospitality, etc.)

• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues, including circuits, panels, lighting, GFCIs, and equipment power supplies

• Install and upgrade wiring, conduit, receptacles, breakers, and lighting systems to meet commercial building codes

• Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure compliance with NEC and OSHA standards

• Respond to service calls in a timely and professional manner, providing clear updates to customers and management

• Maintain accurate documentation of service work, materials used, and recommendations for future repairs

• Collaborate with contractors, facility managers, and site supervisors to complete projects safely and efficiently

Requirements:

• 9+ years of commercial electrical service experience

• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills

• Must be able to pass a background check, vehicle driving history report, and drug test

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Ability to work independently and maintain professional communication with clients

• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs, working in heights, confined spaces, and various conditions
