Job Description:

Skillforce is seeking experienced Journeyman Electricians in the Charles County areas. This position offers a minimum of 40 hrs/week and competitive on a long-term project. The ideal candidate will need to be able to run and thread rigid pipe. Also must possess a valid J-Card from the state of Maryland.

Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain industrial electrical systems.
• Bend, run and thread rigid pipe
• Perform cable tray installation and organize electrical pathways according to project specs.
• Pull and route low-voltage and high-voltage wiring through conduit and cable trays.
• Install and troubleshoot electrical equipment, panels, and control systems.
• Install and wire lighting fixtures, receptacles, and switches per blueprint specifications.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
• Use appropriate tools and equipment, including conduit benders, testers, and hand tools.

Requirements:

• Must have a J-Card for MD
• Work with rigid pipe-running, threading and bending
• Experience with cable tray installation, wire pulling, equipment installation, and lighting fixture install
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics
• Must have reliable transportation and basic hand tools
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail

PAY: Scale up to $60/hr
