Mountain Electrical Contractors LLC is growing and we’re ready to bring new talent to our team. We are a small family owned electrical contractor based out of Bailey, CO providing electrical service work and new construction installations for both residential and commercial properties. Our primary service areas are Fairplay, Denver and in between.

Job Description

The Journeyman Electrician will perform both service work and new construction electrical installations. Service work includes troubleshooting and repair of fixtures, devices and services along with adding or extending circuits for a variety of applications. Current backlog is primarily residential with occasional light commercial tenant improvement projects. Frequent service relocate and/or panel upgrade projects.

Journeyman Electricians will interface directly with clients and must have strong interpersonal skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

·         Provide superior customer service; always being polite and professional and representing Mountain Electric appropriately

·         Read and understand blueprints and design drawings

·         Perform all electrical installations in a neat and workman like manner adhering to all NEC, IBC/IRC and local building codes.

·         Troubleshoot and repair residential and commercial electrical issues

·         Install, modify or replace 1PH and 3PH service equipment

·         Rough electrical for residential and commercial

·         Electrical trim out for residential and commercial

·         Schedule and attend electrical inspections by the AHJ

Qualifications:

·         Minimum of 4 years in the electrical trade performing residential and/or commercial electrical work

·         Active Colorado Journeyman’s Electrician license

·         Strong work ethic and professional attitude

·         Must be able to frequently lift up to 50lbs or more

·         This position requires you to stand for long periods of time, kneel, work overhead and in confined spaces. Candidates must be physically capable of working.
