Position Title: Graphic Designer for Recreation and Commuter Engagement

Responsibilities:
- Craft visual and written content for SLI digital and physical platforms to promote Recreation and Commuter Engagement initiatives, including events attended by Gnarls.
- Assist in marketing plans and promotion of SLI programs, including website and social media management (e.g., Narwhal Nation, Instagram, Twitter, WhatsApp).
- Create, organize, and coordinate reusable assets for events, programs, and series (templates, guidelines, logos).
- Collaborate with students and staff on short-term and long-term graphic design projects.
- Support student leaders through office hours or a project portal.
- Assist and support in-person and virtual spaces, including answering phones, filing, registration, and campus errands.
- Support onboarding of new student employees.
- Represent SLI during community events (e.g., Involvement Fairs, Block Party, Spirit Week, Homecoming).
- Participate in staff meetings and retreats, and maintain high customer service standards.
Work Mode:
Hybrid/Split – Employees work both on campus (1-4 days/week) and remotely.
Salary Range:
$16.50-$21/hr
Minimum Qualifications:
- Requires a Federal Work-Study Award
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office

- Creative problem-solving, multitasking, and collaboration skills
