We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Specialist to join a team in Honolulu, Hawaii. Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations activities.
- Administer employee benefits programs and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
- Utilize ADP Workforce Now to manage payroll, employee data, and HR systems efficiently.
- Provide guidance and support to employees regarding workplace policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with leadership to address and resolve employee concerns effectively.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and organizational policies through regular audits and reviews.
- Assist in developing and implementing HR strategies to support organizational goals.
- Facilitate training sessions and development programs to enhance employee performance.
- Maintain accurate records and generate reports using HR systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Support organizational initiatives related to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an HR role or similar position.
- Proficiency in using ADP Workforce Now for HR management functions.
- Strong knowledge of employee benefits administration and compliance regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with employees and leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive employee relations matters with discretion.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and reporting.
- Solid understanding of HR best practices.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a dynamic work environment.
