Nicasa Behavioral Health Services is seeking a skilled and mission-driven Human Resources Generalist to support our team in Round Lake, IL. This role plays a vital part in maintaining a positive workplace culture and ensuring HR operations run smoothly across the organization.

The ideal candidate is experienced in human resources and payroll, excels at multitasking, and thrives in a collaborative environment where meaningful work is the priority.

Base pay range

$25.00/hr - $28.00/hr

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for staff and interns
  • Facilitate onboarding and orientation for new hires
  • Build and maintain partnerships with schools to support intern recruitment
  • Assist managers with employee relations, performance management, coaching, and terminations
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and maintain accurate employee records
  • Manage HRIS data through Paylocity
  • Support recruitment and employer branding via social media

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of human resources experience preferred
  • Experience with HRIS systems; Paylocity strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with using social media for recruitment is a plus
