##### POSITION SUMMARY

CBMMs Human Resources Manager (HRM) will oversee all aspects of human resources operations, providing support to leadership and staff. HRM will play a critical role in implementing HR strategies that align with the organization's mission, values, and long-term goals. This position involves managing recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits, training and development, compliance, and organizational culture initiatives. The HRMs duties extend across CBMMs paid and volunteer labor programs. The HRM will ensure a positive, inclusive, and productive work environment that supports CBMMs commitment to its mission and values.

##### RESPONSIBILITIES

Recruitment and Onboarding

  • Manage the staff and volunteer recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, selection, and extending official offers of employment.

  • Coordinate the onboarding of new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.

  • Develop and maintain recruitment strategies to attract diverse talent.

Employee Relations

  • Serve as a resource for staff and volunteers on HR policies, procedures, and conflict resolution.

  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, addressing employee and volunteer concerns and promoting engagement.

  • Provide support to supervisors and managers in addressing performance and behavior issues.

Compensation And Benefits

  • Oversee CBMM's Compensation Philosophy and benefits programs, ensuring alignment with long-term strategies, nonprofit standards, and industry best practices.

  • Manage payroll processing, benefits enrollment, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

  • Monitor compensation trends to ensure CBMMs Compensation Philosophy and salary benchmarking reflect market conditions.

Training and Development

  • Identify training needs and coordinate professional development opportunities for staff.

Compliance and Legal

  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.

Performance Management
