Representative-Human Resources at Baptist Memorial Health Care.

Provides Human Resource leadership and services to support the Corporate mission. Offers policy interpretation, information, counseling, and support to leaders, managers and employees in areas including employee relations, benefits, employment, compensation, payroll, workers' compensation, and employee health. Recommends new or revised procedures to ensure compliance with policy, legal, and regulatory requirements (including Joint Commission and EEOC). Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the recruitment needs for the assigned area(s), including internal transfers and external hires.
• Conduct investigations, coaching, counseling, and terminations as part of employee relations activities.
• Administers benefit plans.
• Assist HR Director with the performance management process by addressing pay and compensation issues.
• Complete assigned goals.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 3+ years directly related experience in a healthcare setting. Preferred 3+ years in a medical group practice setting.
• Education: Minimum Baccalaureate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field. 2 additional years of HR experience can substitute for the degree. Preferred Master’s degree in HR Management, Business Administration or related field.
• Training & Skills: Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Previous experience using automated HR/Payroll systems.
• Licensure: SHRM certification as SPHR or PHR is preferred.
