You will be the driving force behind employee engagement, compliance, recruitment, and benefits administration, all while supporting a compassionate healthcare community.
Responsibilities
- Champion employee morale initiatives, handle disciplinary processes, payroll updates, terminations, resignations, and benefits management with professionalism and care.
- Maintain strict adherence to regulatory requirements, including Department of Health guidelines, ensuring a compliant and safe workplace.
- Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts by identifying staffing needs, sourcing top talent, conducting thorough screenings, and facilitating interviews.
- Manage critical HR functions such as I-9 verification, workers’ compensation, disability claims, and FMLA with accuracy and confidentiality.
What We’re Looking For
- At least 1 year of hands-on HR experience, ideally within a skilled nursing or healthcare setting.
- Experience working with unions is highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- A proactive, empathetic professional who handles sensitive situations with discretion and integrity.
