Job Summary
Reporting to the Chief Human Capital Officer, the Deputy Chief Human Capital Officer acts as a strategic and tactical leader for human capital functions including leadership development, benefits, compensation, and HRIS. The role involves applying best practices to transform and optimize Human Capital, serving as a role model and mentor.
Education & Experience
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or related field
- 10+ years of experience in corporate or private sector HR within multi-state organizations; experience leading transformations and strategies
- Expertise in HR areas: organizational development, compensation, benefits, HRIS analytics
- 10+ years in HR/Human Capital executive leadership roles
Preferred:
- Master's degree or HR certifications (SPHR, SHRM)
- Experience in developing executive leadership talent
- Military background with HR experience
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with CHCO on business requirements; develop strategies to optimize Human Capital
- Lead teams responsible for Benefits, Compensation, HRIS, and Leadership Development
- Oversee workforce planning, talent gaps, succession, and leadership initiatives
- Collaborate with HR leadership to enhance organizational effectiveness and culture
- Ensure legal compliance and manage vendor contracts
- Perform other duties as required

Working Conditions
- Availability for non-standard hours
- Work within a standard office environment with 20% travel
