Human Resources Generalist
Our client, a manufacturer based in Exton, PA, is currently seeking an experienced Human Resources (HR) Generalist.
Position Summary : Reporting to the HR VP, the HR Generalist will run the day-to-day functions of the HR department including Full-Cycle Talent Acquisition, Payroll Administration, Benefits Administration, Leaves of Absence, and Performance Management. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of hand-on HR experience, strong detail-orientation, and a passion for helping people!
This is a full-time, permanent position requiring onsite work, Monday-Friday, in the Exton, PA office.
Responsibilities :
- Recruits, screens, interviews, schedules, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings. Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications and other pre-employment requirements. Ensures appropriate documentation for Full Cycle Recruiting
- Implement new hire orientation.
- Runs the weekly payroll processing and 401k funding for two legal entities
- Maintains the accuracy and integrity of the HCM system by entering updates, employee changes, and other approved payroll/status change notices
- Responsible for applying all HR policies and company guidelines
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs.
- Manages the distribution of performance reviews.
- Maintain employment records and verifications.
- Implement health insurance enrollments for new hires and administers open enrollments, changes to employee health insurance elections.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Performs annual, monthly quarterly required reports or assignments as needed in the department.
- Responds to unemployment requests and payroll verifications
- Assists with event planning.
- Performs other HR or company duties as assigned.
