YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the HR Director in completing all required tasks and reporting to meet or exceed corporate requirements.
- Help employees and managers navigate HR tools and processes.
- Develop complex and strategic ad hoc reports as required.
- Assist with audits to maintain corporate compliance and ensure adherence to laws and regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all employees by answering questions and responding to inquiries.
- Administer drug testing programs and coordinate quarterly random testing as required.
- Maintain employee files in compliance with legal requirements and retention policies.
- Process all invoices for the department promptly.
- Oversee onboarding for new employees, ensuring all paperwork, including I-9 verification, is completed timely.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory agencies such as Brenntag Code of Business Conduct & Ethics, Antitrust Compliance Policy, Protective Agreement, Dispute Resolution Agreement, DDOL, EEOC, etc.
- Support the company's vision and mission.
- Perform additional tasks and projects to support the HR department.
Your Profile
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, organizational management, human resources management, or a related field, with 3-5 years of HR experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.). Experience with ADP, Workday, and Cornerstone is preferred.
- Multi-state HR experience is preferred.
- Experience supporting front-line management.
- Experience in warehousing, manufacturing, or distribution environments is strongly preferred.
