Role Description

This is a full-time remote Human Resources Manager role based in the Bay area. In this role, you’ll oversee key HR functions with a strong focus on recruitment, talent management, and supporting business strategy. You’ll collaborate closely across departments to foster a cohesive, high-performing work environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop annual and quarterly recruitment plans aligned with business growth.
• Define job profiles, create talent maps, and design sourcing channel strategies.
• Lead end-to-end hiring for critical positions, including technical, management, and niche roles.
• Innovate sourcing channels — from industry communities to targeted headhunting — to attract top talent.
• Build and maintain a talent pool while enhancing the employer brand.
• Partner with business teams to understand goals, challenges, and capability needs.
• Produce talent market and competitor insights to inform strategic decisions.
• Participate in departmental meetings to proactively identify and close talent gaps.
• Streamline recruitment workflows and leverage digital tools (e.g., ATS, automated screening).
• Analyze hiring metrics such as conversion rates, pass rates, and turnover to improve efficiency.
• Manage recruitment budgets and external partners, including RPOs, headhunters, and universities.
• Support organizational development, team diagnostics, and talent reviews.
• Manage employee relations, onboarding programs, and probation period success rates.
• Collaborate with other HR functions (compensation, training) to provide integrated solutions.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in HR, psychology, management, or related fields.
• 5+ years of recruitment experience, with at least 2 years in HRBP or business-side hiring. Experience in XR industry or leading tech companies is a plus.
• Proven track record in filling challenging roles; strong sourcing and headhunting skills.
• Strong business acumen and ability to translate business goals into talent strategies.
• Familiarity with OKR/PMP and project management.
• Knowledge of assessment tools such as MBTI/Hogan.
