Base pay range
$85,000.00/yr - $105,000.00/yr

Tiger is working with a single-family office founded in 2008 in Montreal, Canada. The firm has historically operated in stealth mode, managing the private assets and strategic investments of a UHNW principal. They are undergoing a major corporate relocation and expansion and are looking for a Human Resources Manager to handle their Vermont and Canadian employees. This job is remote, but the employee MUST BE BASED IN VERMONT!
Responsibilities:
- Administer HR policies and procedures and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and employment laws
- Administer payroll, which incorporates both exempt and non-exempt employees
- Coordinate full-cycle recruitment: posting jobs, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks
- Facilitate new hire orientations and oversee onboarding/offboarding processes
- Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding HR policies, benefits, and payroll
- Support performance review processes and track employee evaluations and training
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HRIS and personnel files
- Assist with benefits administration, open enrollment, and liaise with benefit providers
- Address employee relations issues and help resolve workplace conflicts
- Prepare HR reports, analyze data, and present metrics related to headcount, turnover, and engagement
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5 - 8 years of HR experience supporting multiple HR functions
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Experience with HRIS systems and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and build trust with employees at all levels
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred but not required
