Catalyst Partners is hiring: Human Resources Analyst in New York

Overview

We are partnering with a high-growth investment bank seeking to hire an HR Analyst in their New York office. As the sole HR employee on the ground in the US, you will support day-to-day HR operations across the firm’s US offices, collaborate with the European HR team, and help build the Human Capital function from the ground up in the US.

Base pay range

$80,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR contact for approximately 60 US-based employees across the East Coast.
• Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring smooth transitions and accurate documentation.
• Handle benefits administration, including employee enrollment, vendor communication, and responding to employee inquiries.
• Track and report PTO and holiday usage across teams.
• Maintain and update the Employee Handbook in alignment with regulatory changes and company policies.
• Prepare and communicate summaries of benefits, ensuring clarity and accessibility for employees.
• Work extensively with the ADP TotalSource platform to manage employee data, compliance, and reporting.
• Act as a liaison with the European HR team - providing proactive updates, ensuring transparency, and keeping all stakeholders informed of US HR activities.
• Support HR-related scheduling, including meetings with senior management and coordinating employee communications.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in a Generalist or Operational HR role.
• At least 1 year experience with ADP platforms (ideally with ADP TotalSource).
• Hands-on experience with benefits administration.
• Strong understanding of US HR practices, compliance, and documentation standards.
• Ability to work on-site in New York City on a 4-day in-office schedule (midtown Manhattan).
