Are you looking for a fun, busy, and unique cafe job? Cafe Beatrice is seeking baristas/counter staff! We value team members who focus on quality service and product in a fun environment. Responsibilities include greeting guests, answering questions, taking orders, accepting payments, preparing beverages, maintaining cleanliness, updating displays, and expanding knowledge of food and beverage quality controls, preparation methods, and presentation. Being a team player and providing exceptional hospitality are essential.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Setting up dining area and service counter daily
• Taking guest orders and informing about menu options
• Processing payments
• Preparing ingredients and beverages according to recipes
• Stocking and serving food and beverages
• Running food to guests
• Maintaining cleanliness throughout shifts
• Managing stock of dishes, mugs, to-go containers, and utensils
• Performing POS cash-in and cash-out procedures
• Cleaning dining and service areas at closing
• Operating beverage machines and performing maintenance

Job Requirements:

• Previous cafe or barista experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic math skills
• Excellent communication skills; fluency in English required
• Ability to lift/move up to 30 lbs
• Ability to walk, bend, stand for extended periods
• Handling hot and cold food and beverages regularly
• Flexibility to work various shifts

Compensation:

• This is a tipped position with a guaranteed hourly rate of $25.00 plus tips.
