Job Summary:

As a Barista at Alexandria Events, you'll be the face of our coffee service, responsible for preparing high-quality beverages while delivering warm, personalized service. You'll work closely with our culinary and events teams to support daily operations as well as high-profile gatherings.

Day-to-Day/Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve espresso-based beverages, teas, and other café items to exacting standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and service areas.
• Engage warmly with guests, ensuring a positive and efficient experience.
• Assist in restocking supplies, monitoring inventory, and following all sanitation procedures.
• Collaborate with culinary and front-of-house staff to support seamless event execution.
• Contribute to seasonal beverage menu development and provide feedback based on guest preferences.
• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines.

About You:

• Previous barista experience required (minimum 1 year preferred).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and a team player.
• Flexible availability, including mornings, weekends, and occasional evenings for events.
• Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
