Position Summary

  • The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving coffee and other beverages to customers in hospital kiosk
  • Will take customers’ orders, make drinks and provide timely service to customers

Shift

Part-time (20hrs per week)

Rotating Shift

Location: Howard County Medical Center,

5755 Cedar Lane, Columbia MD 21044

Education/Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1‐2 years’ experience in retail hospitality culinary experience required

Required Licensure, Certification, On-going Training

Barista, specialty drink certification, or equivalent preferred

Salary Range: Minimum $16.00/hour - Maximum $ 25.09/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
