We are hiring a Barista / Bistro Server
Join our team! We are currently looking for enthusiastic individuals to join us as Bistro Servers. Working at our hotel bar and lounge outlets means you are often the first or last greeting our guests receive each day. This position involves both front of the house and back of the house duties, so friendly, smiling, service-oriented individuals are desired. Bistro associates must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. This role is primarily counter service but may also involve assisting with front desk or banquets, providing opportunities for cross-training and resume expansion.
Job Description
The Bistro Associate provides excellent guest service, prepares hot and cold entrees, preps food according to par sheets, washes dishes, buses tables, serves, bartends, performs barista duties, handles cash, uses electronic sales systems, sets up and breaks down meeting space tables, chairs, linens, and catering equipment, prepares and serves banquets, and ensures all opening and closing duties are completed. Additionally, completes daily side work and checklists.
Job Requirements
- 1 year of experience in cooking, bartending, barista, or serving roles.
- Ability to stand and work 7-9 hour shifts, starting as early as 5 AM.
- Flexibility to work days, occasional nights, and holidays.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
