We are hiring a Barista / Bistro Server
Join our team as we are currently looking for enthusiastic individuals to join us in the position of Bistro Server. Working at our hotel bar and lounge outlets means you are many times the first or last greeting our guest receives in the day. This position will share time between the front of the house and back of the house, so friendly, smiling, service-oriented individuals are desired for this position. Bistro associates must be willing to work a flexible schedule which will include weekends and holidays. This position is primarily a counter service position and may be used at some of our establishments to assist with front desk or banquets, allowing you opportunity to cross train and expand your resume.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent guest service
- Prepare hot and cold entrees
- Prep food according to par sheets
- Wash dishes, bussing, serving, bartending, barista duties
- Cash handling and use of electronic sale systems
- Set up and breakdown of meeting space tables, chairs, linens and catering equipment
- Prepare food for and serve banquets
- Ensure opening and closing duties are performed
- Complete daily required side work and checklists
Qualifications
- 1 year of previous cooking, bartending, barista or serving experience required
- Ability to stand/work 7-9 hour shifts starting as early as 5 AM
- Work a flexible schedule including days, occasional nights and holidays
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or more
