Job Description

Provide exceptional customer service in a safe and clean environment to ensure the customer's return visit. Treat customers and employees in a fair and ethical manner, promote an inclusive work environment, be a responsible community member, and provide the right products at the right time with fair and accurate pricing. Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming environment for customers by answering questions about products and store services.
• Maintain knowledge of products and suggest items to customers.
• Collaborate with team members to meet store goals.
• Prepare beverages according to recipes and customer requests, using proper equipment.
• Offer product samples to introduce new items and inform customers of specials.
• Ensure ordered products are fresh and portion sizes are accurate to prevent shrinkage.
• Recommend products to customers to meet their needs.
• Use all coffee shop equipment properly and maintain inventory.
• Check product quality and review expiration dates.
• Follow safety procedures and food safety regulations.
• Report safety issues or accidents to management.
• Work effectively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
• Manage conflicts professionally and maintain honesty and integrity.
• Follow directions and seek help when needed.
• Support customers with special needs, minors, and older adults.
• Perform essential job functions with or without accommodations.

Qualifications

Minimum: Excellent customer service skills.
