Job Description

Provide exceptional customer service in a safe and clean environment to ensure the customer's return visit. Treat customers and employees in a fair and ethical manner, promote an inclusive work environment, be a responsible community member, and provide the right products at the right time with fair and accurate pricing. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming environment where customers feel important and appreciated by answering questions about products and throughout the store.
• Maintain knowledge of products sold within the department and respond to customer inquiries with suggestions.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals.
• Prepare beverages according to recipes and customer requests using proper equipment; process transactions following company best practices.
• Offer product samples and inform customers about specials.
• Ensure the freshness and quality of products, check 'sell by' dates, and handle inventory appropriately.
• Use kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including espresso machines, blenders, and scales.
• Label, stock, and inventory merchandise; report discrepancies to management.
• Stay updated on promotions and advertisements.
• Adhere to safety and food safety regulations; inspect equipment and report issues.
• Report safety risks, accidents, or illegal activities to management.
• Work effectively in high-paced, stressful environments; manage conflicts cooperatively.
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Follow directions and seek assistance when needed to resolve issues.
• Support interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Excellent customer service skills.
• Desired: Previous relevant experience.
